Understanding ACH & Wire Transfers: Processing Times, Fees, and Refund Policy
Moving money should be simple, secure, and transparent. Whether you're receiving payments from an employer, client, or business partner, understanding how ACH and wire transfers work can help you manage your finances with confidence.
ACH Transfers
ACH (Automated Clearing House) transfers are electronic bank-to-bank payments commonly used for payroll, business payments, and direct deposits.
Processing Time
Standard ACH transfers typically take 1–3 business days to complete.
Processing may take longer during weekends, public holidays, or if additional verification is required.
Wire Transfers
Wire transfers are designed for faster, high-value transactions and are commonly used for urgent domestic and international payments.
Processing Time
Domestic wire transfers are usually completed on the same business day if received before the bank's cutoff time.
International wire transfers generally take 1–5 business days, depending on the sending and receiving banks.
Incoming Transfer Fee
A $2.00 incoming transfer fee is charged for every successfully received ACH or wire transfer. This fee covers payment processing, banking infrastructure, and account maintenance.
The fee is deducted automatically before funds are credited to your account.
Refund Policy
Refunds are only issued under specific circumstances. Because ACH and wire transfers involve multiple financial institutions, completed transactions generally cannot be reversed once processed.
A refund may be considered if:
The transfer was credited to your account in error.
A duplicate payment was received due to a banking mistake.
The sender successfully recalls the transfer before final settlement.
Funds cannot be credited because of invalid or incorrect account details.
The transaction is rejected or returned by the receiving bank.
Refunds will not be issued for:
Completed and successfully credited transfers.
Incorrect payment instructions provided by the sender.
Delays caused by banking networks, weekends, or public holidays.
Compliance reviews or regulatory verification procedures.
Compliance & Security
For your protection, certain transactions may be temporarily placed under review to comply with banking regulations and anti-money laundering (AML) requirements. If additional verification is needed, our support team will contact you promptly.
